There are numerous ways to escape "bad weather", such as:

Clavadeleralp Dairy The Clavadeleralp Dairy is located at 2,028 meters above sea level and offers guests a magnificent view of the Alpine panorama. It can be reached either by taking the Jakobshorn cable car to Jschalp and then a 45-minute walk, by post bus to Clavadel followed by a one-hour hike, or by one of the many marked hiking trails from the valley.

BeerVision Monstein The highest brewery in Switzerland and the first "show brewery" in the canton of Graubünden is located in Monstein. It is housed in the former village dairy, a building constructed 100 years ago. From crystal-clear Monstein spring water, Swiss hops, and aromatic malt, BeerVision Monstein AG brews Monstein beer specialties according to traditional recipes. Monstein is a picturesque village at 1,625 meters above sea level. The typical Walser houses and barns give the village, with its two churches and two inns, a unique charm.

Davos Swimming Pool With the wellness and adventure pool "eau-là-là", Davos offers an oasis for swimmers of all ages, those seeking relaxation, and health-conscious individuals. The spacious water world is located on the ground floor, while the stunning wellness world is located on the two upper floors. The offerings range from a steam bath under the enchanting starry sky to two solariums, additional shower and cold water areas, and a lounge with a fireplace for relaxation. The log cabin sauna and the outdoor hot tub with a large sun terrace round off the well-being experience.

Kirchner Museum Ernst Ludwig Kirchner lived in Davos from 1918 until his death. His extensive works are considered groundbreaking for German Expressionism. The Kirchner Museum Davos opened in 1992 and houses the world's largest collection of his works. The museum building was designed by Zurich architects Annette Gigon and Mike Guyer and is widely recognized in the international architectural scene for its simple, consistent form. The museum is open year-round from Tuesday to Sunday.

Winter Sports Museum Davos The former post office building—now the Landratssaal of Davos—thanks to its central location, is ideally suited to present the rich collection of valuable winter sports equipment and documents from the Jürg Kaufmann Foundation. Visitors to the Winter Sports Museum Davos can admire magnificent exhibits (sleds, bobsleighs, skis, ice skates, curling materials, etc.) from the early days of winter sports up to the present.

Davos Heimatmuseum (Local History Museum) The Heimatmuseum Davos aims to provide a vivid picture of the history, everyday life, traditions, and crafts of Davos. The rich collection of objects and documents is displayed in the Große Jenatsch House. As an old patrician house and historical building, it too tells many stories. The Heimatmuseum also hosts temporary special exhibitions.

Mining Museum Davos Monstein The Mining Museum is located in the historic administrative building of the former mining settlement of Schmelzboden-Hoffnungsbau, near the Davos Monstein railway station. The building dates back to the early 19th century. The museum features exhibits such as mining tools, models, documents, plans, photos, and ores from various former mining sites throughout the canton. The exhibition is enhanced by a sound and image show, which provides a lasting impression of the first industry in Graubünden. Unique additions include the calcite and rock crystal exhibits established in 2001 and 2002.
