Sit Back and Enjoy
With its unique mountain routes, the UNESCO World Heritage Albula/Bernina line, and famous classics like the Glacier and Bernina Express, the RhB (Rhaetian Railway) has been providing top-notch railway experiences for over 120 years through the tri-lingual canton of Graubünden. No matter which journey you take, one thing remains constant: the RhB brings together the beauty of the landscape, the power of technology, and the pioneering spirit of the past century.
Day Trip from Davos to Tirano on the Bernina Express
This exciting journey over the Bernina Pass (2,253 m above sea level) takes you through wild romantic valleys, past glaciers and peaks, through the Puschlav Valley, all the way to Tirano in Italy. Today, the Alps no longer need to be conquered. The most beautiful alpine crossing is already here: the Albula and Bernina routes of the RhB with the Bernina Express. In 2008, UNESCO's World Heritage Committee added the Albula and Bernina routes to the World Heritage List, making the RhB the third railway in the world to be considered "universally outstanding." Enjoy a ride on this historic train through the breathtaking Alpine landscape of Graubünden.
