Biking in the Swiss Alps
The mountain world of Davos Klosters offers an astonishing and unique location for mountain bikers, road cyclists, and downhill riders, making it one of the most attractive bike destinations in Graubünden. The trail network in Davos Klosters spans over 700 km, taking you through high-alpine landscapes.
Davos is surrounded by Switzerland's largest mountain passes. The circular route over the Albula and Flüela passes is a classic in road cycling and very popular with road cyclists. The marked mountain bike tours in the region are sure to make any biker's heart race, offering even the most experienced mountain bikers a fantastic biking and nature experience.
For those who prefer descending over ascending, Davos Klosters is the ideal destination. The mountain railways, bike shuttles, and the RhB (Rhaetian Railway) are an integral part of the mountain biking offer here. A total of six cable cars and chairlifts allow bikes to be transported.
However, be aware: in all of Davos, trail-sharing is practiced. All downhill routes, except the freeride track from Gotschnaboden to Klosters, are shared with hikers. Additionally, there are many alpine farms in the Davos Klosters destination, where livestock is kept. It’s common to encounter animals on the trails, so it's important to remain cautious.
As our guest, you benefit from heavily discounted mountain railway tickets with the Premium Guest Card, and bikes can be transported at favorable rates.
